more of life's unsolicited tips

This is such a problem everywhere I go with my eyes & ears lately -- the Woman on the Facebook. And I can not see what the big deal is. Take steps! Evaluate it! If it needs handling, handle it! What would Lucy Ricardo do? Do women want to be right or do they want to be married? I know, we all want both, and yet ... that lady on the Facebook, she seems to be a pebble in the shoe. But this is 2010! Women can not be moderne and at the same time clinging fearfully to life's old saws doled out by the patriarchy to keep us in our boxes!

 

One old saw is mostly true: Men who will cheat, will cheat. But there is a whole population affected by the rather mundane trouble of poor impulse control. The fact is that unless one keeps their spouse sequestered in the basement in a gimp suit, they have to be relied upon to control themselves. No one can nag anyone into their control. However, anyone can try to take control of the situation and keep things off-course, and learn about the scenery in the process. It requires a certain kind of willingness and improvisation, and I just have ideas about how to jump off in that process.
